The Founder
Learn about the founder of Rising Stars
Connor Smith is a high school student at The Haverford School whose passion for physical fitness first emerged during his middle school years. This interest deepened when he joined his high school crew team, where he further learned the importance of dedication and collaboration through the athletes on his team. In addition to developing a stronger mindset, Connor also built lasting friendships and meaningful memories.
Our Goal
Throughout his career, social psychologist Roy F. Baumeister conducted numerous studies on how collected efforts influenced social bonding. His research revealed that shared challenging experiences create stronger connections among individuals. His studies open the eye to how collaborated efforts play a major role in building meaningful relationships.
Rising Stars recognizes that sports and physical activities play more of a role than just fitness - they create stronger environments by allowing individuals to build lasting bonds through athletic challenges. By donating athletic equipment to schools, we hope to open up more opportunities for students to get involved in sports and chase any athletic dreams.

Rising Stars offers a variety of sports related items. Please view and fill out the Google Form to make a request. When your request has been received you will receive an email. Requested equipment will be shipped to desired location.
